2 1/2 cups of homemade coconut milk (or other that you like);</br> 1 cup Quinoa, well rinsed;</br> Maple syrup (or other sweetener that you like), to taste;</br> 1 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder;</br> good pinch of raw vanilla powder;</br> a pinch of sea salt;
Place all ingredients in a medium saucepan. </br> Bring to a boil, lower the heat and let simmer, stirring on occasion. for 15 minutes or until quinoa is soft.</br> Pour it into bowls. Top with fruit, maple syrup and fruit of choice.
Quinoa is normally cooked with a lid. However, in this recipe, the idea is to achieve a creamy texture, to obtain this consistency, cook the quinoa with more milk and stir while it cooks.
