This time of the year always gets my inspiration going and takes me to the kitchen.. Im finding myself spending more free time than ever alchemizing over grounding, heavenly fall feasts that are filling and making me feel all warm inside.

I always have one too many squashes laying around, they are so handy for roasting, blending into creamy soups or delectable sauces over whole wheat pasta.

Squash is a warming vegetable that aids in detoxifying, quenches thirst and relives fidgetiness. It also helps reduce inflammation and improves circulation.

Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub

This all natural scrub sloughs off dead skin cells, brightens, hydrates and nourishes skin.


  • 1 cup organic brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup unrefined cold-pressed coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon mixture of cinnamon, cardamom and nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vitamin E oil



Combine organic brown sugar and spices. Add in pumpkin puree, coconut oil and vitamin E oil. Mix all ingredients together.

After cleansing skin, apply a small amount of scrub to face. Use fingers to gently massage in circular motions (avoid the eye area). After 1-2 minutes, rinse with warm water.
