Some mornings have more flow to them than others..

If your stuck in one of those days, why not try a little something different, like spiking your breakfast with a favorite adaptogen: Mucuna. This velvety bean powder helps to activate those feel good neurotransmitters that elevate mood, spark libido, invoke creativity, and soothe the nervous system.

Try this smoothie bowl and feel it for yourself!

Berry Ginger Happy Bowl

Serves 4

2 Medjool dates, pitted

1 cup frozen raspberries

1 cup frozen blueberries

1 cup frozen blackberries

2 frozen bananas, chopped

2 inch piece of fresh ginger, or to taste

2 tbsp Mucuna

1 tsp Açaí berry powder

pinch or raw vanilla bean powder

2 cups of coconut milk, or other plant milk you like

toppings

raw granola

seasonal fruit

chia seeds

 

Place all the ingredientes in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. Add more milk to reach the desired consistency.

Divide the smoothie mixture between bowls. Top with granola, fruit and chia seeds. Serve.
